Rekha Thapa is a Nepali actress, model and film maker. She was a top ten finalist for Miss Nepal in 1999. Two years later she made her movie debut in Chhabiraj Ojha's Hero. The Fagu Poornima celebration begins with a Holika dahan or making a bonfire commemorating the death of Holika on the eve of Holi, the symbol of triumph of good over evil.
